Government notifies transfer of 3 IHC judges to other high courts
1 min readThe government on Wednesday notified the transfer of three judges of the Islamabad High Court to other high courts under Article 200 of the Constitution.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice, the president approved the transfers on the recommendation of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan and a summary moved by the prime minister.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani has been transferred to the Lahore High Court, Justice Babar Sattar to the Peshawar High Court, and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz to the Sindh High Court.
The development follows a meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) held on April 28, where the transfers were approved by a majority of members.
