Earthquake tremors shake Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and several cities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday after a 5.7 magnitude quake struck the region, officials said.

The tremors were reported in Peshawar, Swat, Malakand, Buner, Dir, Swabi, Nowshera, Abbottabad and Mansehra.

According to the information provided, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.7 on the Richter scale.

The epicentre was located in Tajikistan, at a depth of 170 kilometres.
