The Election Commission on Saturday issued the official list of contesting candidates for the Senate by-election 2026 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on a general seat.

According to Form-54 issued under relevant election rules, a total of five candidates, including Asghar Ali (PML-N), Raheela Bibi (PPP Parliamentarians), Sajad Khan Mohmand (Independent), Abdul Haseeb (JUI), and Irfan Saleem (Independent), will contest the elections.

Polling will be held on April 23 (Thursday), between 9am and 6pm.

The Election Commission has directed all concerned to ensure necessary arrangements for the smooth and transparent conduct of the by-election.
