Gold climbs in Pakistan as global prices extend rally
1 min readGold prices in Pakistan rose on Thursday in line with gains in the international market, extending the ongoing upward trend.
In the local market, gold per tola increased by Rs1,400 to reach Rs504,862, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,200 to Rs432,837.
A day earlier, gold per tola had climbed by Rs3,500 to settle at Rs503,462, reflecting sustained volatility in the bullion market.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $14 to $4,825 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also posted gains, rising by Rs110 to reach Rs8,514 per tola.
