Gold prices increased in both local and global markets, with the per tola rate rising by Rs3,000 to reach Rs497,662 on Friday.

According to market data, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,572, reaching Rs426,664.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $30 per ounce, taking the rate to $4,753 per ounce.

Silver prices also recorded an increase. In the local market, silver reached Rs8,014 per tola, while the price of 10 grams stood at Rs6,870.

Globally, silver prices climbed to $75.30 per ounce.
