Michael J. Fox alive and well after false death report
1 min readActor Michael J. Fox’s team has dismissed a false death report that circulated after a media outlet mistakenly published a tribute video.
Fox’s representative told TMZ on 8 April, “Michael is doing great. He was at PaleyFest yesterday, on stage and giving interviews.”
CNN had briefly published a video titled Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox before removing it, confirming the package went online by mistake and apologising to Fox and his family.
The 64-year-old actor had appeared publicly on April 7 at the Shrinking season three finale screening during PaleyFest in Los Angeles.
Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, Fox has spoken openly about living with the condition.
In October, he told PEOPLE, “You take the good, and you seize it. I wake up and get the message of what the day is gonna be like, and I try to adjust to it… I keep getting new challenges physically, and I get through them.”
He is married to Tracy Pollan, 65, and the couple has four children.
