Pakistan condemns Iran strikes on Saudi energy sites, expresses solidarity with Riyadh
1 min readPakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned reported Iranian missile and drone strikes on energy facilities in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, expressing concern over rising regional tensions.
In a statement, the Foreign Office said Islamabad “strongly condemns” the attacks and voiced deep concern over damage to critical infrastructure.
The spokesperson also expressed condolences over the reported loss of life and reaffirmed Pakistan’s “full solidarity” with Saudi Arabia.
“We condemn attacks on key infrastructure and mourn the loss of lives,” the statement said.
According to Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency, Iranian forces targeted a petrochemical complex in Jubail, a major industrial hub in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern region.
The incident marks a further escalation in the Gulf, raising fears of a broader conflict that could threaten global energy supplies and regional stability.
