Rapper Offset has been discharged from hospital after being shot earlier this week in Hollywood, Florida, and says he is now focused on recovery and family.

In a message shared on social media, the artist said he is doing well and concentrating on his health and returning to music.

His spokesperson confirmed he is “up and walking” and thanked medical staff for their care during his treatment.

Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Monday.

Authorities detained two individuals in connection with the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Separately, rapper Lil Tjay was arrested the same night on a disorderly conduct charge and later released on bail.

Rumours linking Lil Tjay to the shooting were denied by his attorney, who said he has not been charged in connection with the incident.
