Punjab schools shift to four-day week, Sindh keeps five-day schedule
1 min readThe Punjab School Education Department issued a notification on Wednesday announcing a four-day school week across the province.
According to the notification, schools in Punjab will remain closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Classes will start at 8am from Monday to Thursday, while government and private schools will close at 1:30pm.
In double-shift schools, the first shift will end at 12:30pm, while the second shift will run from 1pm to 5:30pm.
Meanwhile, schools in Sindh will continue to operate five days a week.
