The Sindh government has decided to keep educational institutions across the province closed from Wednesday until March 31, according to a statement issued after a Sindh cabinet meeting in Karachi.

The cabinet said the closure will take effect from tomorrow and will apply to educational institutions across the province.

Despite the closure of schools, students’ examinations will be held according to their scheduled dates, with no changes to the examination timetable, the statement said.

The statement added that necessary online classes will continue across Sindh to maintain the continuity of educational activities.

The Sindh government has directed relevant institutions to ensure arrangements to make the online teaching system effective during the closure of educational institutions.
