Ali Larijani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, has issued a stern warning to the United States following reports suggesting a possible limited ground operation in Iran.

In a statement posted on X, Larijani said Iran was fully prepared to confront any such move.

He said some American officials had indicated plans to enter Iranian territory with several thousand troops, prompting a sharp response from Tehran.

“The sacred land of Iran is no place for the servants of hell,” said.
“The valiant sons of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei are waiting for you, ready to disgrace those corrupt American officials by killing and capturing thousands,” he added.

Earlier, Karoline Leavitt had said that the United States currently has no plans to deploy ground forces in Iran.
