Ad-hoc president of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Mohiuddin Wani, met national team players and management to review preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifying round.

During the meeting, Wani discussed strategy for achieving improved results in forthcoming major events.

He urged players to focus solely on their game, assuring them that all administrative matters would be handled by the federation.

He pledged to take all possible steps to restore Pakistan’s lost stature in international hockey and promised that players would be provided necessary facilities and incentives.

He also assured that no undue pressure would be placed on them.

Wani said national players were ambassadors of Pakistan and must strive to bring honour to the country through their performance.

While taking responsibility for administrative decisions, he stressed that players must demonstrate strict discipline to ensure success on the field.
