Toxic cocaine effects ruled in death of Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter Victoria
1 min readThe circumstances surrounding the death of Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, have been revealed.
According to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in San Francisco, Victoria died from “toxic effects of cocaine,” and her death has been classified as an accident.
The family had released a statement on January 2, a day after her passing, asking for privacy and expressing gratitude for public support:
“We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
Victoria was found at the Fairmont San Francisco after police and firefighters responded to a medical emergency alert on January 1 at around 2:52am.
Reports obtained by People included dispatch audio describing a “code 3 for the overdose, colour change.”
The 34-year-old had previously been arrested twice, including once for drug possession.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Lee Jones, and elder brother Austin Jones, 43.
