TCS signs four MoUs with Kazakhstan partners to boost trade and logistics
1 min readThe TCS Group has signed four strategic memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with leading institutions in Kazakhstan to strengthen cross-border trade, logistics, and investment cooperation.
The agreements were signed with the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Baiterek National Investment Holding Company, KUSTO Logistics LLP, and Qazpost, Kazakhstan’s national postal operator.
The MoUs were concluded during the Pakistan-Kazakhstan Business Forum, held alongside President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s official visit to Pakistan.
Officials said the agreements position TCS as a key facilitator in logistics, finance, technology, and investment between the two countries.
The forum was held in the context of a Joint Declaration on Establishing Strategic Partnership between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, which calls for enhanced cooperation in political, economic, connectivity, education, and technology sectors.
“TCS is uniquely positioned to catalyse deeper economic engagement between Pakistan and Kazakhstan,” said Group Chairman Khalid Awan at the signing ceremony.
“These partnerships reflect our belief in the immense potential between our countries. Our mission is to bridge markets, unlock investment opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. We are also preparing to open an office in Astana shortly,” he said.
Both countries are working to raise bilateral trade from about $250 million to an aspirational target of $1 billion, reflecting a shared commitment to convert political goodwill into economic outcomes.
