The prices of gold and silver continued to rise in the local market on Wednesday, with gold increasing by Rs2,300 per tola to reach Rs528,562.

The price of ten grams of gold also went up by Rs1,900, reaching Rs453,156.

In the global market, gold gained $23 to reach $5,580 per ounce.

Silver prices followed a similar trend, with the cost per tola rising by Rs120 to Rs8,735, and ten grams increasing by Rs103 to Rs7,488.

Globally, silver is now priced at $82.60 per ounce.
