Gold and silver prices surge in local markets

The prices of gold and silver rose once again on Monday, with gold gaining significantly in local markets.
The price of gold per tola increased by Rs5,300, reaching Rs524,762, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs4,544 to Rs449,898.
In the international market, gold gained $53 per ounce, taking the rate to $5,020.
Silver also saw an increase, with the price per tola rising by Rs346 to Rs8,615.
