Gold prices recorded a sharp increase in both local and international markets on Tuesday, with rates rising significantly across Pakistan.

The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs11,744, while the per tola rate went up by Rs13,700.

Following the increase, gold prices climbed to Rs504,062 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams reached Rs432,151.

In the international market, gold prices also saw a strong upward move, rising by $137 to reach $4,813 per ounce.
