Pakistan’s T20 squad leaves Lahore for Sri Lanka
1 min readThe national cricket team departed Lahore on Monday for Sri Lanka to take part in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The 15-member squad is led by Captain Salman Agha and includes Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf and Fakhar Zaman, along with Khawaja Muhammad Nafi, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Salman Mirza and Naseem Shah.
Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi have also been named in the squad, while Usman Khan and Usman Tariq have travelled to Sri Lanka with the national team.
The Pakistan team will take complete rest on the first two days after arriving in Sri Lanka and is scheduled to play a warm-up match against Ireland on February 4.
