Supreme Court acquits murder convict Abdul Razzaq
1 min readThe Supreme Court has accepted the acquittal petition of Abdul Razaq, previously sentenced to death by a trial court and life imprisonment by a high court.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Hashim Kakar heard the case, with the convict’s lawyer, retired Justice Sagheer Ahmed Qadri, arguing that witness statements and medical evidence did not support the conviction.
He requested a review and correction of trial procedures.
