Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices dropped significantly in January 2026, with a 4 to 5.26% reduction notified by Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) on Friday.

Sui Nothern Gas Pipelines Limited’s (SNGPL) transmission and distribution rates fell by 4.62% and 4.68%, while Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) recorded declines of 5.25% and 5.26%.

RLNG prices decreased by 50–55 cents per Million British Thermal Units (MMBTU) for SNGPL consumers and 50–57 cents per MMBTU for SSGC consumers.

The cut was made possible due to a reduction in the Disparity DES rate, and the new prices will take effect from January 1, 2026.
