Several flights between the UAE and Delhi were delayed on Monday due to dense fog affecting visibility in Northern India.

Passengers were advised to check flight status before leaving for the airport.

Morning departures were most affected, with delays ranging from 30 minutes to over three hours.

Airlines, including Emirates, IndiGo, flydubai, Air India Express, and Etihad, reported disruptions, while some domestic IndiGo flights were cancelled for safety.

No official cancellations from Dubai were reported; most affected flights eventually departed.

Seasonal winter fog is a common cause of such delays in Delhi and surrounding airports.
