Justice Muhammad Kamran Malakhail on Monday took oath as the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court.

Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail administered the oath at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House in Quetta.

The event was attended by judges of the Balochistan High Court, senior lawyers, bar representatives, government officials, IG Balochistan and members of civil society.

The ceremony was well-attended, with participants extending their best wishes to the newly appointed chief justice.

The attendees said they were hopeful that Justice Malakhail would help make the province’s justice system more responsive and effective for the people it serves.
