Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday held a special meeting with former prime minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Lahore’s Jati Umra.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in detail.

The prime minister also briefed Nawaz Sharif on the political scenario in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the economic situation and electricity prices also came under discussion.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz updated the meeting on the ongoing development projects in the province, highlighting that work on various projects is continuing at a fast pace and will be completed on schedule.

She also briefed the leaders on preparations for local government elections in Punjab and progress on restoring Lahore’s historic cultural heritage.

The meeting included discussions on development strategies and various administrative matters.
