Sindh police launch crackdown on vehicles without number plates and drivers without licences
The Sindh police have announced a strict crackdown against drivers operating vehicles without valid licences and vehicles without number plates, according to an official notification issued by the Inspector General (IG) of Sindh.
The notification directs authorities to take action across the entire province, including Karachi.
Vehicles violating the rules will be impounded, and drivers will face arrest.
FIRs will be registered against offenders under the Motor Vehicle Ordinance.
Clear instructions have been issued to all zonal and divisional DIGs, the DIG CIA, and SSP AVLC to implement the crackdown.
Under the IG’s orders, concerned officers are required to submit daily reports on the enforcement operation to ensure the crackdown is carried out effectively and consistently throughout the province.
