Lahore officials have issued a high-security warning across the city following an explosion on a Dera Ismail Khan police mobile on Wednesday.

DIG Operations Faisal Kamran has required stricter security measures at all entry and exit points, directing field officers to remain alert while carefully examining vehicles and people.

Extra staff have been assigned to sensitive and public areas, with increased police patrols and mobile inspections.

Dolphin and Police Response Unit (PRU) teams have been put on high alert.

Security has also been increased around markets and critical installations.

Citizens have been advised to remain cautious and follow police instructions during emergencies.
