The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday formally submitted a list of visitors to Adiala Jail authorities for Tuesday’s meeting with the party’s incarcerated founder, Imran Khan.

The list includes Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, Salman Safdar, Ali Zaman, Sardar Nabi, and Talat Mahmood.

Additionally, Imran Khan’s sisters — Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan, and Noreen Niazi — are expected to visit the jail. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is also likely to arrive from Peshawar to meet the PTI founder.

Meanwhile, authorities have imposed strict security measures around Adiala Jail to maintain the law and order situation.

Police have directed Gorakhpur Bazaar traders to keep their shops closed on Tuesday, and all private educational institutions in the surrounding area will remain shut.

Over 80 police checkpoints will be set up along Adiala Road, Gorakhpur, and nearby areas to inspect incoming vehicles.

Law enforcement agencies have been placed on high alert, with coordination efforts in place to maintain public order.

Section 144 remains in force in Rawalpindi from December 1 to 3, prohibiting public gatherings, rallies, and assemblies of five or more people.

The display of weapons, pillion riding, and use of loudspeakers are also banned.

Islamabad continues to enforce Section 144 due to ongoing security concerns, under which protests and rallies remain prohibited.

Authorities have warned that any violation of Section 144 will prompt immediate legal action and urged citizens to avoid unauthorised gatherings.
