Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their strategic economic partnership during a meeting in Islamabad between Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb and UAE Ambassador Salem M. Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi.

Aurangzeb praised the UAE’s longstanding support to Pakistan, noting its role in trade, investment, remittances, and government-to-government financing.

He also acknowledged the UAE’s crucial support in Pakistan’s dealings with international financial institutions.

Ambassador Al Zaabi said deepening bilateral ties, particularly in strategic, economic, and cultural areas, would remain a key priority throughout his tenure.
