The Lahore High Court on Monday approved the bail application of YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai, in a case concerning the promotion of gambling applications.

The court granted bail against a surety of Rs1 million.

He was arrested for promoting gambling apps on his YouTube channel, which is considered illegal under Pakistan’s anti-gambling laws.

The hearing took place today before Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry.

The court noted that, according to the Supreme Court’s judgment, denial of bail in such cases is unusual.
