A man was shot dead in Karachi’s Korangi Gulzar Colony after armed suspects opened fire during a motorcycle snatching incident, police said on Monday.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital, where the victim was identified as Niaz Ahmed.

According to police, the suspects first shot the victim and then took his motorcycle. Officials added that the attackers did not take any cash and fled immediately after the shooting.

A crime scene unit collected evidence from the spot, while police said they are investigating the incident from multiple angles.
