Security Committee of KP Assembly to meet on Nov 3

All parliamentary parties are represented in the 37-member body

The Security Committee of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been convened to meet on November 3, according to an official statement issued on Saturday.

The 37-member committee, which includes representatives from all parliamentary parties, will be chaired by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.

The meeting will discuss the overall political and security situation in the province, with a detailed review of recent developments related to a jirga initiative, the statement said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Afridi has reached out to leaders of all political parties to formulate a joint strategy on maintaining law and order across the province.
