Punjab Education Minister has announced revised school timings for the schools in Lahore due to the worsening smog situation in the region.

Schools in Lahore will now open at 8:45am and close at 1:30pm, Rana Sikandar Hayat announced on social media.

He said the change in school timings has been implemented in view of the increasing smog levels across Lahore.

Lahore has been ranked top in the AQI’s world’s most polluted cities list.
