An international women’s expedition has successfully scaled Nepal’s 5,630-metre-high Yulang Peak, with two Pakistani climbers, Amna Hanif and Siddiqa Hanif, among the team of 12 international mountaineers.

The expedition included women from several countries, including the United States.

The two Pakistani climbers, who are sisters, hail from Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Their achievement marks another milestone for Pakistan’s growing presence in international mountaineering and women’s adventure sports.
