The federal government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products.

According to the notification issued, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs4.07 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has increased by Rs 4.04 per litre.

Following the revision, the new prices of petrol and high-speed diesel are now Rs268.68 per litre and Rs276.81 per litre, respectively.

New prices shall be effective from October 1.
