The Punjab Wildlife Department has arrested a suspect accused of throwing a pangolin into the floodwaters of Nullah Dek near Narowal.

The arrest was made possible through a TikTok video that helped trace the individual, who was apprehended at Ahmedabad Fort in Narowal District, with a case registered against him.

Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb stated that legal procedures are being followed in connection with the case.

She emphasised that those who harm wildlife will face severe penalties under the law, asserting that the protection of Pakistan’s valuable wildlife will be ensured at all costs.
