Pakistani women athletes win six medals at 7th International Taekwondo Championship

Pakistani women athletes delivered a historic performance at the 7th International Taekwondo Championship in Lahore, winning a total of six medals, including five golds and one silver.

The championship, which featured over 1,000 athletes from 18 countries, saw Tayabba Ashraf and Sumbal Fatima dominate the competition.

Ashraf clinched three gold medals in the 49kg category with her outstanding skills, while Fatima added two golds and a silver to Pakistan’s tally.

Their achievements drew widespread praise from the taekwondo community and are being hailed as an inspiration for young female athletes across the country.
