The weather has turned pleasant after heavy rain in different areas of Islamabad.

According to sources, light rain and drizzle were also recorded in different areas of the city during the night.

According to the Met Office, heavy rain is likely at a few places in upper Punjab, Potohar region, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir today. Monsoon rains have been predicted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Met Office, rains are expected in most districts of the province till August 7. In view of which, the PDMA has issued an alert.

In addition, the coastal areas of Sindh are likely to be partly cloudy and light rain or drizzle is likely.
