Iran’s foreign minister criticises UN Security Council for inaction on Israeli attacks
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday strongly criticised the United Nations Security Council, accusing it of “indifference” towards Israel’s recent attacks on Iran.
In a televised meeting with foreign diplomats, Araghchi stated that the Security Council has shown a lack of response to the Israeli aggression, while Western governments unjustly condemned Iran rather than Israel, the party that was violated.
He also claimed that Tehran has evidence indicating US forces provided support for Israel’s intensified bombardment campaign against Iran this week.
“We have solid proof of the support from American forces and bases in the region for the attacks by the Zionist regime’s military,” Araghchi added.
