The Met Office forecasted hot and dry weather for most parts of the country today, although some regions are expected to receive rain.

In Islamabad, the federal capital, conditions are anticipated to be hot and dry, with similar weather expected across most areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

However, rain is predicted in the northern regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, and Mansehra.

Additionally, districts in Punjab such as Mianwali, Jhang, Faisalabad, and Sargodha may also see rainfall, potentially providing some relief from the heat.

In contrast, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to continue experiencing hot and dry conditions, with higher temperatures prompting local authorities to urge residents to take precautions.

Meanwhile, thunderstorms accompanied by rain are anticipated in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, which could enhance local weather conditions.
