Speeding trailer hangs off bridge in Karachi after crash
A speeding trailer lost control, crashed into the safety railing, and hung precariously off the ICI Bridge in Karachi on the night between Sunday and Monday.
However, there were no casualties despite the serious risk of the trailer falling.
Traffic police reported that the accident caused major disruptions to vehicle flow on the bridge.
Rescue teams and traffic officers promptly arrived at the scene, secured the area, and redirected traffic to alternative routes.
Authorities brought in heavy machinery and used a crane to pull the trailer back onto the bridge.
After several hours, the rescue team removed the trailer and restored traffic.
