Pakistan’s airspace has been fully restored and all airports across the country are now operational for routine flight operations, the Pakistan Airports Authority confirmed on Saturday.

According to a spokesperson for the authority, “Pakistan’s airspace has been completely reopened. All airports are available for normal flight operations.” The spokesperson further advised passengers to check with their respective airlines for the latest flight schedules.

The announcement comes after days of disruption caused by heightened military tensions between Pakistan and India. Following Indian drone strikes earlier this week, flight operations at major airports including Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore were severely affected. Nearly 450 domestic and international flights were delayed or cancelled during the peak of the escalation.

Just yesterday, over 150 flights — including those carrying Hajj pilgrims and commercial flights to and from destinations such as Dubai, Doha, Sharjah, Kuala Lumpur, Madinah, and Riyadh — were cancelled due to security concerns and airspace restrictions.

The restoration of airspace follows a formal ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, announced earlier today, and signals a return to normalcy in civil aviation operations. Authorities are urging passengers to remain in contact with their airlines for real-time updates.
