PTI leader Ibad Farooq released from Kot Lakhpat Jail
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ibad Farooq has been released from Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Ibad’s brother, Shahzad Farooq, confirmed his release from jail.
He was in jail for cases related to the events of May 9.
Also, on September 19, 2023, Ibad’s son Ammar Ibad Farooq passed away at a hospital in Lahore.

Protesters attacked state buildings and military installations, but the PTI distanced itself and called for a judicial inquiry into the events.
