Pakistan economic affairs ministry’s X account hacked
The Ministry of Economic Affairs’ spokesperson has confirmed that the X account was hacked on Friday (today).
A spokesperson affirmed that the ministry holds no affiliation with any posts currently appearing on the account.
The spokesperson also said the hacker shared a post about recent Pakistan-India tensions, which does not reflect the ministry’s views or statements.
“We are working to have the Twitter (X) switched off,” the ministry told Reuters, adding that they “did not tweet” about it.
