Pakistani high commission officers begin repatriation amid diplomatic tensions
The repatriation of officers from the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi has commenced in phases.
Sources report that the return of officers classified as undesirable by India began on April 28 and is projected to be completed by April 30.
India had labeled certain Pakistani military officers as undesirable and requested their return. In response, Pakistan opted for a gradual repatriation.
The return of officers from the Indian High Commission is also expected to conclude by April 30.
The Indian High Commission officers are likely to return via the Wagah border, although official permission for this is still pending.
