Rajab Butt faces backlash for controversial remarks on Fahad Mustafa
Pakistani YouTuber and social media influencer Raja Butt is again making headlines due to his remarks directed at popular actor and host Fahad Mustafa, alongside criticism of his controversial perfume “295.”
Raja Butt is currently facing increased scrutiny following a recent interview in which Fahad Mustafa criticized family vloggers, asserting that “they are selling their families for views and money.” This statement ignited a heated discussion on social media, particularly among YouTubers creating family-oriented content.
Raja Butt responded to Mustafa’s comments during a podcast in Dubai, stating, “I don’t know much about Fahad Mustafa, but I cannot respect those who fail to display a professional attitude despite their seniority.”
He added, “A senior is someone who earns respect. You will receive respect if you give it. Times have changed; if I speak rudely to a ninth-grade student, they will shut me down immediately.”
Challenging the notion of standards, Raja questioned, “What kind of standard is it that everyone is selling their families? Fahad Mustafa is selfish because he is exploiting others’ families.”
Butt admitted that he once enjoyed Mustafa’s shows, particularly “Jeeto Pakistan,” but his recent comments have led to a significant decline in his respect for him.
During the podcast, he emphasized, “When a junior approaches you, appreciate them rather than belittle them. Seniors should celebrate juniors’ successes instead of discouraging them.”
While Fahad Mustafa has chosen not to respond publicly, several notable figures in the entertainment industry, including Faisal Qureshi, Shamoon Abbasi, and Faizan Sheikh, have voiced their disapproval of Raja Butt’s statements.

In his defense, Raja Butt mentioned that he focuses solely on his content and does not interfere in the private lives of others, expressing disappointment that some in the entertainment industry exploit families for publicity.
The controversy surrounding Raja Butt’s remarks has gained traction on social media, with some praising his frankness while others contend that such sensitive matters should be resolved privately instead of aired publicly.
