Punjab has finally welcomed much-needed rain after a prolonged dry spell, with significant downpours reported across various areas, including Lahore, Chunian, Farooqabad, Jhang, Sargodha, Mian Channu, and Pattoki.

The rainfall, accompanied by strong winds, has brought a noticeable drop in temperatures, offering relief to residents.

In Lahore, rain was recorded in several neighborhoods, such as Gulberg, Garden Town, Mozang, Samanabad, Farukhabad, Lakshmi Chowk, Nabha Road, and neighborhoods surrounding Faisal Town.

While the rain has alleviated the heat, it has led to challenges in certain areas. Specifically, in Chunian, heavy rainfall caused disruptions in the power supply, resulting in inconvenience for local residents.
