Played at Mount Maunganui, New Zealand set a target of 264 runs after batting first and scoring 264 for the loss of 8 wickets. The Pakistani bowlers struggled to make an impact, allowing the Kiwi batsmen to capitalize and score runs freely.
The Pakistani batting lineup also fell short, with no standout performances in their pursuit of 265 runs. The national team was all out for 221 runs in just 40 overs.
Babar Azam contributed a modest 50 runs, while Mohammad Rizwan managed only 37.
The all-rounders failed to make a significant impact, losing their wickets with reckless shots.
