Government announces increase in LPG prices

New prices will be effective from April 1

The government has announced a rise in LPG gas prices following the issuance of a notification.

According to the notification, the price of LPG has risen by 54 paisa per kilogram, setting the new price at Rs248.37 per kilogram.

The new prices will take effect from April 1, resulting in higher costs for both residential and commercial consumers purchasing LPG.

Last month, the import price of Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) rose by 4 cents per MMBTU, setting the new rate at $12.94 per MMBTU.
