Narendra Modi’s extremist government has made it difficult for Muslims to offer Eid prayers.

Modi government has decided to impose restrictions before Eid, creating difficulties for Muslims like before.

According to Indian media reports, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the Hindu extremist police in the city of Meerut have banned Muslims from offering Eid prayers in open spaces.

Report states that before Eid, the Meerut police threatened Muslims that if they offered Eid prayers on an open road, their passports and driving licenses would be revoked.

According to the Indian police, if any individual is found offering Eid prayers on the road, an FIR will be registered against them. They stated that Muslims should offer Eid prayers only in mosques, and any violation will result in strict legal action.

Last year in Meerut, cases were filed against 200 people for offering Eid prayers on the road, and action was taken against 80 individuals after their identification.
