Federal and provincial leaders unite to expose Jaffar Express attackers, fight fake news
In a major development, Prime Minister has ordered a full-scale effort to expose the attackers of the Jaffar Express incident and counter fake news campaigns tarnishing Pakistan’s image. The decision came during a crucial meeting of federal and provincial leaderships held in Islamabad.
The meeting, attended by civil and military leadership and representatives of all provinces, agreed to strengthen the national narrative under the National Action Plan (NAP), sourced told Aaj News.
It was also decided to launch a strong counter-offensive against anti-state propaganda on traditional and digital media, ensuring strict action against any content harmful to national security and social harmony.
The participants stressed enhancing inter-provincial cooperation and using films, dramas, and digital content to spread the national narrative among the youth.
The meeting also agreed to highlight the damaging social impacts of terrorism and introduce awareness in the national curriculum.
