CCTV footage of the recent blast on Double Road in Quetta has emerged, showing a police mobile passing by just before the explosion. In the video, a suspect dressed in black can be seen detonating the bomb remotely.

The footage captures the moments leading up to the explosion near the Barech Market, where a motorcyclist, wearing a mask and cap to conceal his identity, was present.

The suspect, with a white cloth covering his face, can be seen both standing on the road and sitting on his motorcycle, scanning the area nervously.

As security forces’ vehicles passed, the suspect activated the remote device to trigger the explosion.

In related news, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has registered a case regarding the blast at the CTD police station.

The case has been filed against unidentified suspects by the on-duty officer and includes charges of murder and attempted murder.

The blast, which occurred near Barech Market, resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to 21 others, including four police officers.

According to police reports, the explosion took place alongside the road as a security forces vehicle was passing by. Immediately afterward, rescue teams arrived at the scene to transport the injured and deceased to the hospital.

The blast caused a fire on a motorcycle parked at the site, damaging nearby vehicles as well.
